BloodDonor.bd connects blood donors, seekers, volunteers and organizations across Bangladesh to help people find blood quickly when it matters.

Requesting Blood

Post a blood request for a patient — nearby donors are notified.

When blood is needed, post a request quickly from the **Need Blood** page.

  • Open the form Go to **/need-blood** and start filling in the form.
  • Patient details Enter the patient name, the **blood group** required, the number of bags (1–5) and the hospital.
  • Location and contact Add the district, thana/upazila and your **contact number**. Add a note if needed.
  • Submit Submitting sends the request for review and notifies matching donors. You can then track it from your dashboard.

In an emergency, post it as an **Emergency** request for faster reach.

A request supports up to 10 bags (the form usually shows 1–5).

A request starts as **Pending** and becomes active after admin approval.

Give accurate details — a wrong number or detail misleads people.
