Emergency Blood Request

When blood is needed urgently, post an emergency request to alert donors immediately.

Use an emergency request when blood is needed fast to save a life.

  • Switch to emergency On the **Need Blood** page choose emergency mode (or open /need-blood?type=emergency).
  • Enter details fast Give the blood group, bags, hospital, district and an active contact number.
  • Submit Submitting instantly alerts matching donors in your district.

Keep your phone nearby — donors may call you directly.

You can also post from the **Emergency** tab in your dashboard.

If a life is in danger, call **999** or the national blood helpline **16263** right away.

Use emergency only when it truly is urgent, so the system stays effective.
